CNC Machinists - Set up and Operator - Multi axial milling and turning, Swiss Turning, and wire EDM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines efficiently to produce parts to customer blueprint specification while adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Capable of measuring parts with the proper equipment (calipers, micrometers, gage pins, etc.) prior to first piece inspection and during production to meet our quality standards.
  • Able to work with a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminum, and plastic while holding tight tolerances.
  • Resolves production problems by altering process to meet specifications: notifying supervisors to obtain additional resources.
Qualifications/Requirements

  • MINIMUM 5-10+ YEARS EXPIERENCE
  • MANUFACTURING/MACHINE SHOP OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE A MUST.
  • MUST HAVE THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING AND ABILITY TO READ/INTERPRET BLUEPRINTS.
  • MUST USE ALL INSPECTION EQUIPMENT (CALIBERS, OPTICAL COMPARITORS, MICROMETER, ETC.)
  • MECHANICAL INSPECTION TOOLS, TOOLING, DOCUMENTATION SKILLS.
  • COMPUTER SKILLS SUCH AS MS WORD AND EXCEL A BONUS.

Quality Control Inspector

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proper inspection of machined parts.
  • Approves in-process and finished production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and dimensional tests; communicating required adjustments, if any to production.
  • Individual must be well versed in the full cycle (all levels) inspection process from first piece to final inspection.
  • Maintain good documentation practices (GDP).
Qualifications/Requirements

  • MINIMUM 2+ YEARS EXPIERENCE
  • MANUFACTURING/MACHINE SHOP OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE A MUST.
  • MUST HAVE THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING AND ABILITY TO READ/INTERPRET BLUEPRINTS.
  • MUST USE ALL INSPECTION EQUIPMENT (CALIBERS, OPTICAL COMPARITORS, MICROMETER, ETC.)

CNC Machinist Programmers and Set Up Multi axial milling and turning, Swiss Turning, and wire EDM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Program and setup CNC machines efficiently to produce parts to customer blueprint specification while adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Plan programming by studying blueprints, 3D models, dimensions, and tolerances to yield a respectable and functional final product.
  • Able to work with a variety of materials including stainless steels, aluminum, and plastic while holding tight tolerances.
  • Has superior knowledge to all basic aspects of machining related to one's respective area of expertise in a given department.
  • Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • All around MANUAL Machinist: turning, milling, and grinding equipment.

Deburrer - Medical Device Finishing

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Removes burrs from machined parts by guiding component against abrasive wheel or belt.
  • Polishes surfaces using buffing compound and a muslin buffing wheel.
  • Removes excess material from welded joints using a deburring wheel or sand belt.
  • Moves deburring wheel over surfaces of work piece to remove fine scratches and to achieve specified finish.
  • Polishes recessed areas with fine grade emery cloth.
  • Sandblasts component surfaces to blueprint specifications using various types of abrasive media.
  • Removes inclusions and/or excess materials from castings using a high speed hand-held deburring tool.
  • Conditions component surfaces using an automated rotational barrel finishing machine.
  • Assembles various machined parts and components

Qualification Requirements

  • MINIMUM 1+ YEARS EXPERIENCE with a high school education or equivalent.
  • MANUFACTURING/MACHINE SHOP OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE A MUST.

Laser Marking Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs Laser Marking duties 80 % of position and 20% Deburrs, grit blasts, polishes, and buffs steel, stainless steel, and plastic articles such as medical implants, surgical instruments, machined components by performing the following duties.
  • Perform laser machine marking operations in production environment.
  • Perform all dimensional inspections.
  • Moving parts accurately, quickly and safely throughout production cycles.
  • Work from drawings and work instructions to plan the finishing/assembly.

Qualification Requirements

  • MINIMUM 1+ YEARS EXPERIENCE with a high school education or equivalent.
  • MANUFACTURING/MACHINE SHOP OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE A MUST.

Tig Welder

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welds together stainless-steel products such as medical components and commercial assemblies and deburrs performing the following duties.
  • Removes burrs from machined parts by guiding component against abrasive wheel or belt.
  • Polishes surfaces using buffing compound and a muslin buffing wheel.
  • Removes excess material from welded joints using a deburring wheel or sand belt.
  • Moves deburring wheel over surfaces of work piece to remove fine scratches and to achieve specified finish.
  • Polishes recessed areas with fine gtrade emery cloth.
  • Sandblasts component surfaces to blueprint specifications using various types of abrasive media.
  • Removes inclusions and/or excess materials from castings using a high speed hand-held deburring tool.
  • Conditions component surfaces using an automated rotational barrel finishing machine.
  • Monitors stock levels of gas, welding rod, and associated supplies and reorders when necessary.

Qualification Requirements:

  • MINIMUM 1+ YEARS EXPERIENCE with a high school education or equivalent.
  • MANUFACTURING/MACHINE SHOP OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE A MUST.
